What will happen

We will be doing various operations on the serial console switch to try to resolve its quirky behavior before putting it in production.

Why

We have recently acquired a serial console (cs0-canix2.koumbit.net) but it is showing packet loss issues and loss of SSH connectivity.

We also wish to announce our visits to the datacenter more systematically.

How

We will try various configurations on the switch and if none works, will try to flash with a development version of the firmware from Lantronix.
